Sustainability
We are not a perfect brand, and we don't sell a perfect promise. But a few things are important to us — and we really deliver on those.
Small batches, no waste
We deliberately produce in small batches, not in runs of thousands. This sometimes means a design sells out quickly. But it also means no overproduction, no mountains of unsold goods ending up in storage or being destroyed.
Manufacturers we know
Our products are made in small, mostly family-run manufactories in Turkey. We visit them regularly, know the people who weave our towels, and understand their working conditions. Fair pay and decent working hours are a matter of course for us — not because a seal dictates it, but because we like the people who make these pieces possible with us.
Made to last
Our towels and bathrobes are not made for just one season. With proper care, they last for years — and get softer with every wash. We believe that this is one of the most honest forms of sustainability: making things you want to keep.
Packaging
We ship our items as plastic-free as possible. Recycled kraft paper, cardboard boxes, paper tape — no unnecessary foils, no glitter filling. What goes in should be able to come out again — into the paper recycling stream.
What we don't claim
We don't call ourselves "green" or "climate neutral." Such statements require accountability that we currently cannot provide to that extent. What we do: produce honestly, in small quantities, with long durability, fair conditions, and less plastic.
We don't want to promise more — but we deliver on this.
