Evil Eye Kimono

The Nazar Kimono features one of Turkey's oldest symbols: the protective eye – the Nazar. It is said to ward off the evil eye and preserve good fortune. We have printed it on airy, soft cotton, by hand, in a small workshop in Turkey. Flowing oversized cut, fringe hem, integrated tie belt.

Five color palettes, all with the same motif, each with its own character – from deep midnight blue to warm sun-red. Choose the color that resonates most with you.

The Nazar Kimono is lighter and airier than our Bubble bathrobes – perfect for hot summer days. The print is pure handwork; small irregularities in the motif and color gradient are part of its charm and make each piece unique.

Story:
The Nazar is an ancient symbol of the Mediterranean: a blue eye that watches over to keep the wearer protected. In Turkey, you'll find it everywhere – on front doors, in shops, as a pendant around the neck. We wanted to translate this symbol into a garment that feels like summer and wears like a hug. Each motif is individually printed onto the fabric with a wooden block, in a small workshop in Turkey.
