Palm kimono

A Grove of Cotton. From Jaipur.

The Palmier Kimono is our first piece from India — hand-printed in Jaipur using the traditional block printing method, which has been practiced there for over 500 years. Each palm trunk, each leaf is individually stamped onto light, fine cotton with a carved wooden block. This gives the print its characteristic depth, the gentle color gradient, the small irregularities that no machine print can ever achieve.

Light drape, midi-length, wide sleeve cut, two practical pockets, and a clean, fringe-free edge. A kimono that works just as well over a bikini as it does with white jeans in the city.
